Club Meetings Club By-Laws BARTLESVILLE BASSMASTERS 2010 FISHING RULES

BARTLESVILLE BASSMASTERS

Bartlesville BassMasters Club -- an Affiliation of B.A.S.S

The club is a great way to meet others who share an interest in bass fishing and to learn from their experience as well as share some of your own, and possibly fish some new lakes.

The Bartlesville BassMasters meets the first Thursday of each month at the Branding Iron Room, next to Arvest Bank, Dewey, OK. You do not have to own a boat to fish in the club tournaments or to be a member of the club. If you own a boat, you may elect to fish any tournament as a non-boater. Tournaments are scheduled March - October/November--generally, one tournament each month. Club dues are $45.00 for the year. There is NO entry fee for the tournaments, however there is an OPTIONAL $10 jackpot covering 1st & 2nd Place and Big Bass and there is a team competition which is an additional $5 for the team. There might be an additional small fee of $1-2 per tournament when a special permit is required by the lake to hold same. Please note, that neither of these are mandatory in order to fish the tournaments and do not affect point standings.  Expenses to/from and during the tournament are shared between partners--usually between $30 and $40 for 1 day tournaments (including fuel for tow vehicle, fuel/oil for boat, launch ramp fees). Two day tournaments might require additional expenses for lodging.

TOURNAMENTS, PARTNERS, & RANKINGS:

Of the nine tournaments, two are 2-day tournaments and one is a night tournament. Members may invite/fish with a guest during the two 2-day tournaments or team up with another member of the club. The night tournament is self-pairing within the club. This leaves six 1-day tournaments--fishing partners/competitors will be randomly drawn from a hat for the 1-day tournaments, matching non-boaters with boaters being the highest priority. Each member is allowed one "Self" (you choose to fish in the boat by yourself) and one "Guest" per season. You may elect to go as "Self" during any of the tournaments, 1-day, 2-day or night. You may elect to take a "Guest" during any of the 1-day tournaments. You do not use your "Guest" option for the two 2-day tournaments--guest are a given for the 2-day tournaments. The Top Six Team State Championship tournament is fished by those that qualified for the Top-Six Team the previous season–this team will represent the Bartlesville BASSMASTERS in the State Championship fishing against other State Federation clubs. The Bartlesville Bassmasters’ Top-Ten Championship is fished by the Top-Ten finalist for the year. Club rankings are computed by adding points awarded at each of the club tournaments (an individual’s 7 best scores out of the 9 tournaments), plus 2 points awarded at each of the club meetings attended between March and November.

Hope to see you at the next club meeting. If you are interested in more information, contact Kent Bottenfield
