Father and Son Take 1st and 2nd place at Grand 2-day

Once again, stormy weather started out the morning with light rains and muggy conditions. Weather and 160 plus boats from the Skeeter Tour Championship did not detour the Bartlesville Bassmasters from fishing. Day two's forecast was missed (actually revised late on Saturday) and Grand Lake pretty much missed the 100% rain and 50+ mph winds. After all the dust settled,  father and son team took first place and second place at the 2-day tournament on Grand, September 13-14. Bob Hedges had a 5 fish limit on Saturday with 13.06 lbs, and came back to the scale on Sunday with 4 fish weighing 8.03 lbs for a two day total of 21.09 lbs. Zeth, Bob's son had only one fish on Saturday, but it was a nice one weighing 4.35 lbs. Sunday, Zeth bested his dad with 5 fish limit weighing 13.76 lbs which together landed him 2nd place with 18.11 lbs. His big fish was only outweighed by John Smith's big bass which weighed 4.38 lbs and won that category. Chris Roberts came in third with 3 fish on Saturday weighing 5.44, and 5 fish on Sunday weighing 12.24 lbs, giving him third place with a total of 17.02 lbs.
