KID'S TOURNAMENT - JUNE 7

Wow, what a turn out! The Annual Bartlesville Bassmasters hosted Kids Tournament was another great success with a lot of smiles and happy campers!

Special thanks goes out to all the many volunteers that took time out of their busy schedules to help and all the generous sponsorships from out local community. Without you, this tournament would not be.

GRAND NIGHT TOURNAMENT

Kent and Connie have contacted GRDA and our night tournament for July is on as discussed. More details will follow at the July meeting. Get your partner (another club member) lined up for a great evening of fishing under the moon!

Greenleaf State Park - Tournament Results

Roger Hughes found a limit of willing to bite fish on Saturday morning, coming to the scales with 13 lbs 13 ozs. Chris Roberts took 2nd place with another limit weighing 13 lbs 1oz and also tying with Aarick Lavasseur for big bass honors with a nice healthy 4 lb 2 oz fish. Aarick took third place points with his limit weight, 1 lb behind the winner, of 12 lbs 13 oz. There were a lot of comments about "what's this green stuff that keeps getting on my baits?" With a lot of the lakes we fish not having much grass, there is an abundance in Greenleaf.

The day started out with a threat for thunderstorms and a cool front passing through later in the day. The clouds held overhead almost all day, but the storms had already passed through the region. The cool front did make its way into the area and brought some gusty winds for a period of time during the early afternoon.

The Bartlesville Bassmasters would like to thank Greenleaf State Park for allowing our club to fish on a short notice. We were able to assist in stocking the youth stock pond with some healthy bass from the creels that were brought to the scales. We hope that there will be some big smiles on some kids that get to catch those fish!

ROGER HUGHES MAKES OKLAHOMA BASS FEDERATION NATION STATE TEAM!

Congratulation Roger on making a place on the OBFN State Team, which will be fishing at Greers Ferry Lake, AR in June.

Go get 'em!

Chris Roberts - Tuesday Night Jackpots

Chris is again holding his Tuesday night Jackpots on Birch and Copan and later will be on Hulah. These are great get togethers for a quick couple of hours of evening fishing and a chance to win a little change to help your habit! His web site is http://www.bushwhackertournaments.com.
